Summer Camp Joy is a three-month ecosystem that provides up to $3,000 to support Black single mothers with summer camp expenses for their children.
The importance of summer camps for children and parents cannot be overstated.
Summer camps of any kind provide children with an opportunity for expansion, independence, play
…and the chance to create lifetime friendships and memories.
A lot of times, for Black single mothers, summer camp is out of reach because it’s cost prohibitive… especially if you’re a mother of multiple children. Through Summer Camp Joy, we help shoulder some of the cost of summer camp for Black single mothers so that their children get to take part in the wonderful experience that is summer camp.
